The NEW South Face Road is now OPEN!

Coming from Melbourne or Traralgon, the South Face Road provides faster, straighter and more convenient travel to Mt Baw Baw and Mt St Gwinear.

The South Face Road provides a direct link from Erica, Rawson and Walhalla to Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort. Travel time between Erica and Rawson to Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort is less than 50 minutes.

You can use your GPS to get to Moe, but then TURN IT OFF.  The South Face Road is new and your GPS will take you all the way back to the Warragul exit via 4WD dirt tracks.
